Brass type is an economical, general purpose type for marking most materials such as: books, leather, plastic, paper and wood. Brass type outwears softer metals, and holds up well when stamping under heat and/or pressure. Brass type from Shelley Stamp is used extensively in the automotive industry.

We will produce any custom wording or design in brass for hot or cold marking. Custom dies can be made type high (.918" / 23.3mm) or machined to any size or shape to fit your present type holders. Brass type blanks are standard type high (.918" / 23.3mm), but can also be machined to any custom height.

Examples of brass type includes: Month logos, Expiration logos, Price logos, Manufacturing Logos, Company Logos.
