The simple cushion handled rubber stamp.  You see them used in banks, in busy offices, and even the Post Office.  These are the stamps that have the easy-to-grasp wood or plastic handle with the rubber cushion and indexed mount strip for easily identifying which stamp is which.  Still to this day they are popular.

Back in 1839 when Charles Goodyear was playing around with rubber and sulphur over his hot stove to create the first vulcanization process, the process by which rubber is cured, I bet he never thought in his wildest dreams that in the 21st Century we would still be using something he helped to create.

Well they are still here and still just as important today as your everyday pencil, keyboard and mouse, or inkjet cartridge.  And in today's world, they're even easier to make than in previous times.

Now a days most of our industry no longer uses rubber, but a light-sensitive chemical called photopolymer that makes the cost of stamps less expensive and also cuts down on the production and delivery time.  What takes our competitors a week now is done routinely at our in-house production facility every Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and is most times ready to ship out to you the same day or the following day.
