Stencil Board Selector Guide:

If you want to cut a 1/4" high letter or number and you want one through five lines of text, you need a 4" tall piece of oilboard. If you want a 1/4" high character and you want six lines of text, you need a 5" tall piece of oilboard.

If you want to cut a 1/2" high letter or number and you want one through three lines of text, you need a 4" tall piece of oilboard. If you want a 1/2" high character and you want four lines of text, you need a 5" tall piece of oilboard. If you need five lines of text, use a 6" tall piece of oilboard. If you need six lines of text, use a 6 1/2" tall piece of oilboard.

If you want a 3/4" character, and you have one or two lines of text, use a 4" tall piece of oilboard. For 3 lines, use a 5" piece. For 4 lines, use 6 1/2" piece of oilboard.

If you want a 1" character, and you have one line, use a 4" piece of oilboard. For two lines, use a 5" piece. For three lines, use a 6" piece. For four lines, use a 6 1/2" piece.

If you want a 1 3/4" character, with one line of text, use a 4" piece of oilboard. For two lines, use a 6 1/2" piece. For three lines or four lines, use 11" piece.

If you want a 2" character, with one line of text, use a 4" piece of oilboard. For two lines, use a 7" piece. For three or four lines, use a 11" tall piece of oilboard.
